What this is
The XML Auditfile Financieel (XAF) is an open standard for exchanging data from accounting systems for reporting and audit purposes. The Dutch Tax Administration (Belastingdienst) publishes the specification. XAF 4.0 is the successor of version 3.2 (2014). On 22 April 2026 the Belastingdienst's ODB service desk announced that from 1 January 2027 only the XAF 4.0 format is accepted for delivery, and older versions are no longer wanted from that date.
This page lists the Odoo modules we found that export an XAF auditfile, by Odoo version (16.0 to 20.0). It is a snapshot, not a recommendation.
Modules we found
We publish one of these. Normalane sells the module marked “we publish this one”. It is listed the same way as the others. The table shows OCA modules first, then other Apps Store listings, with ours last.

How we checked
- On 30 Oct 2026 we listed the 16.0, 17.0, 18.0, 19.0 and 20.0 branches of OCA/l10n-netherlands on GitHub, and read each module's manifest for its authors and licence.
- On the same day we searched the Odoo Apps Store for: xaf, auditfile, auditfile export, audit file. For each listing we read the publisher, the licence, the version selector and whether a price is shown (paid) or not (free).
- Listings whose title does not name the auditfile (for example general accounting-export bridges that offer XAF as one of several formats), and listings that exist only for Odoo 15.0 or older, are not in the table.
- Versions are those offered on 30 Oct 2026. They change often. Odoo Enterprise's own localisation and repositories outside OCA were not checked.
- We do not compare features or prices here. Check each listing for what it covers.
